Integration of the Central European countries in the EU

In a course entitled "Europa Zuerst" at the University of Saarland, I'm focusing on the integration problems in Slovakia and Poland into the EU. We will try to find and discuss, which efforts could make the EU to ease the integration process of these countries, more specifically to stop the alienation process.
