At the moment ESA is not planning to organise a third edition of the Rosetta Science Operations Scheduling Legacy Workshop but rather adapt the workshop to base it on upcoming missions (BepiColombo, etc). For these future workshops on new missions ESA sees advantages and disadvantages described below.

Advantage: the workshops will focus on new future mission on which University students could potentially get involved (internships, master thesis or even future work).
Disadvantage: archive images, planning tools (especially 3D tools) and planning files as well as stories from experience with operating spacecraft around target body (Comet, Mercury, etc) will not be available for the first editions of the workshop.

Adapt the Rosetta Workshop to focus on operations of new missions and ongoing missions and stop delivering the Rosetta Workshop.

Continue offering the Rosetta Workshop and in parallel adapt it to offer a Workshop on new missions and ongoing missions.

Focus on a workshop on new missions and ongoing missions and occasionally offer again the Rosetta Workshop (for example on Rosetta mission anniversary).
