Champagne ... an english invention ??? Charles Legend, back to the truth :-)

As you may know, I created my Champagne winery few years ago and I’m thinking to open the UK market (here we come :-)))…. but before coming I would like to get your inputs.

The name of my winery is actually « Charles Legend » (you can see the bottles and all information on www.charleslegend.com) and it’s a reference that the Sparkling Champagne was created by an English man under the king Charles II, 30 years before the first french champagne Dom Perignon .… Why? Charles II was a fan of France, fine cuisine and of Champagne of course…
However in the first years, it was not a sparkling Champagne but just a white wine….. and that’s why Christopher Merett have bought wine Champagne, brought it to London and worked on the sparkling champagne for his king in 1660.

What I would like to know from you (and your friends) is :

mandatory answer

Question 1

Thank you to enter here your pseudonym

Question 3

Question 4
